"What made you come to New Zealand?"
I get asked that question a lot when I tell people that I no longer live in the United States. I've lived here for the past five years and it's now become my home.
I came to New Zealand as a traveller and spent a year exploring the North and South Island. I loved the freedom that I had to walk the many tramping trails on my own and take a break from the stresses of life.
After a year, I wasn't ready to leave and made the decision to stay for just a little longer.....
I created New Zealand Living with the aim of giving as much information as possible to anyone considering a big move. With a stress-free lifestyle and great weather (among many other things :-) ), it's a perfect place to live!
How to find your way around
This website has several main areas:

All of this information can be overwhelming but it will help you decide whether it's the right place for you.
